ATI hosted its 18th annual SuperConference at the Omni Amelia Island Resort in Florida. Over 500 shop owner members, their employees and family, and event sponsors converged on the luxury resort to participate in what may be the first large in-person automotive aftermarket conference hosted since the height of the pandemic.

The event featured enhanced safety protocols which included daily health screening and temperature checks, and socially distanced meeting space carefully designed to maintain a balance between the SuperConference live experience and attendee safety.

"This year, we were determined to host SuperConference in-person for our members, vendors, and associates. It's not only what we wanted, it's what they wanted. We did SuperConference virtually last year, and while it was a great experience, it doesn't compare to the magic we create by learning, socializing, and celebrating in person, together," says ATI President Richard Menneg.

Speaker highlights included ATI Founder Chris "Chubby" Frederick Sr., ATI President Richard Menneg, Productive Leader's CEO Mary Kelly; Snow & Associate's President Dennis Snow; CEO, Mark Zinder & Associates, Mark Zinder; Laugh it Off Productions CEO, Steve Rizzo and Carm Capriotti, host of the Remarkable Results Radio Podcast, broadcasting his weekly Town Hall Academy live from the SuperConference stage. There were also industry-specific breakouts presented by ATI's coaches, members, and vendors.

After watching industry experts present, attendees also participated in teambuilding activities, networking events, site-seeing tours, fundraising, and celebrating ATI's Top Shop Winners at their gala awards banquet.

"There is no other way to gain the knowledge and experience of hundreds of shop owners around the country, and hear from phenomenal speakers on content vitally important to the successful operation of an auto repair shop—all provided by the premier automotive training company in the industry," said ATI member Al Sutherland (Owner of Al's Certified Auto Repair).

ATI member Erika Gurley (Owner of Complete Auto Repair) added, "This was our first conference, and we had a fabulous experience. This has become a priority to put into our budget to attend each year—the information received and camaraderie of socializing with other shops has been an invaluable experience."

This year's charity fundraiser was mikeroweWORKS Foundation which contributes millions of dollars in trade scholarships to qualified recipients, including those training in the automotive industry. ATI will announce the total dollars donated in the next couple of weeks.

Throughout the current COVID-19 pandemic, the question "what if" has occupied many people's thoughts. Certainly, this is true in the case of travel. So, 'what if' I was to contract COVID-19 at some point in my stay while attending SuperConference2021 at the Omni Amelia Island Resort? The Omni and ATI want to put your mind at ease.

To this end, the resort has extended an offer to provide complementary accommodations for up to 14 days (or until the guest tests negative, whichever occurs first) for any registered attendee who tests positive for COVID-19 during the conference.

This is a continuing part of the SuperConference ATI Safe Plan.

"If it's March, it's SuperConference."

This has been ATI's SuperConference mantra for the past decade. Then along came COVID and everything changed overnight last March. The SuperConference team is truly privileged to have the opportunity each year to bring you "our best SuperConference ever". We are humbled by our members continued support of what has become a major industry event.

Like all conferences, you come for the speakers and content looking for ways to energize, learn, grow, and improve your life and your businesses. But SuperConference is so much more about connections. It is also about smiles and hugs and lifelong friendships. Although we have done our best to plan a March event that would keep everyone as safe as possible, we know we will be challenged to have it feel like every other SuperConference.

So, we have made the relatively easy decision to shift SuperConference 2021 from March to May 5th – 8th. We have been working hard with the Omni to make this happen and we were lucky enough to secure these dates during their peak season! Although, seemingly a short future time change, we are hopeful that this extra time will significantly improve our Country's vaccination initiatives allowing SuperConference to be much more like SuperConference.

We hope that this change pleases you and works for all, or most of, our confirmed attendees. For those planning to attend in May, you do not need to do anything. Over the next week we will update your hotel reservation, using the same days you had reserved in March. For those where these dates just don't work, please reply to this message to let us know.

We sooooo look forward to seeing you all now in early May. And hey, as an added benefit – it will be much warmer in Amelia Island in May. You may actually want to go take a dip in the ocean.

You may cancel for any reason and apply your credit to current/future ATI services through April 2, 2021. Processing of your cancellation credit may take up to 60 days. There may also be minor deductions for unrecoverable costs incurred.

Effective April 3rd to April 16th, 2021 – Your full prepaid registration fee will be forfeited unless we are able to replace your registration with another attendee.

For those of you who have attended previous SuperConferences, you know that we unveil the next year's conference location and dates at the end of the current year's Awards Banquet. We then open registration in June for the next year. We do this because most members take advantage of our convenient, monthly pre-payment plan.

Due to the reschedule circumstances this year, we will announce SuperConference 2021 through a Facebook Live meeting on the ATI Shop Owners Page on Tuesday, June 16th at 1:00 PM EDT. Registration will then open on June 17th.
